paper flower is a small, UK-based indie studio founded in 2023.
We create atmospheric, story-driven games that challenge genre expectations and centre human experience, emotion, and mystery.
We value the individual strengths of each team member and aim to build an environment where people feel respected, supported, and creatively empowered.
Our work focuses on pushing boundaries in horror and narrative design while making space for stories and perspectives that are still underrepresented in games.
If that resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you.
Our Values
🌻 Diverse and Inclusive Team
We believe differences make better games. We aim to create a team where people from varied backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives feel welcomed, valued, and able to contribute fully.
❤️ Empathy and Respect
We treat one another with kindness, patience, and understanding. We listen before we react, assume good intent, and recognise that everyone brings their own circumstances and challenges to the table.
🙌🏽 Transparency and Trust
We value open communication, honest feedback, and shared knowledge. We aim to be clear about decisions, expectations, and how the project evolves so everyone understands where they stand.
✨ Experimental Creativity
We encourage curiosity, bold ideas, and creative risk-taking. Innovation comes from exploration, and we want our team to feel safe trying new approaches and pushing beyond familiar formulas.
💡 Small Team. Big Ideas.
We believe scale doesn’t limit ambition. With the right people and shared purpose, a small team can tell powerful stories and create memorable experiences that stand alongside much larger productions.
